A NATIVE VISIT
When the dawn is up and rising
Woven by a scenic transition from darkness to daylight
Receiving me is my native city
Surrounding me in the station are welcome boards aplenty
Here I land with baggages in hand
Passing through the barren roads
Gliding through my mind are nostalgic memory in loads
Witnessing my transition from a boy to a man
Interspersed with fun,love and happiness
Due courtesy my friends and family
Memories are hard and plenty to forget
Like, the fun filled evening cricket matches
Always ending with neighbor's rackets
Unending chats with friends
When hours raced like seconds
And truly I felt my mom's cooking
Only When I ate in hotels , fuming
Engineering and job created a barrier
Both ended opening newer worlds
Every time I enter my city
An inordinate joy brims my mind
And each time I leave it
An unending sorrow pierces my heart.
