Love

My take on LOVE

Love begins in fantasy
Blooms by attraction
Develops because of admiration
Prospers with understanding
Matures with age
But sustains only with patience

The change

This poem questions the "CHANGE" that we undergo every now and then and how we are afraid to face it.

Never are you welcomed
Nor you are doomed
Marking the disruption of comfortableness
Arousing the feeling of anxiety
Expected or not
Inevitable you become
Signalling a new beginning

Faith in God

Get up in the morning
You can see new problems calling
Putting your best foot forward
Acting as per the command issued inwards
Time for the results to unwind
Throws your attitude out of the wild
Frustration pops this question to the forefront
For why is God always silent
Puts me in thinking
In a day filled with moments
Easily you forget him during pleasant events
The bitter truth is that
He receives more brickbats than pats
For those who believe in him
Plant this in your mind
For what he gives is the best of the kind
Put aside the delay
Absence of faith can blow you away
And others
Plan and trust your actions
Bound you are get the right sanctions
A small piece of my mind
Helping mankind is serving god
Bringing a smile and hope in a persons's life
Makes the silent spectator's heart cooler
Than pots and pots of milk and wate

Destiny of life

The life shorts , but one can't sort anything out of it
As man sciences every bit
But the aura of the one greatest decreases not by an inch,
This journey sour for some, sweet for some, and mixed for others
Is sweet always, but individual thoughts vary;
The journey ends never, for pits and halloweens increase
But some end this pleasent voyage not having the self to rise
Destiny of life never ends.

This can be bettered , rather if each remembers their past
Their glories with some faded away, matters little;
Only those frozen in heart makes an impact
Painted in canvas of heart they revive the past glories,
Destiny of life never ends.

One faces life with grit and smile , rewarded always
As they are the, gandhi's, churchill's, einstein's;
Not born all of a sudden
So face life as it is,
As destiny of life never ends.

Remain a child at heart

This poem is dedicated to all the child within us

Here I am, sitting in my cubicle
Rolling my memory back to life's chronicles
Days when playing whole day: the only commitment
Alas, ending with my mother's stick treatment
Throwing my bag on the floor, after school
And waiting for mom's coffee was uber cool
Times when videogames, cartoons and Hotcars
Were spicing my life, rather than programming, coding and logics
Often, my creativity was unleashed at
The freshly painted walls of my house
Ultimatum being, the short naps on my mother's laps
Missing those days, really are we
Asking god daily a rewind button, very eagerly
Each day increases our maturity,
Sad part is, diminishing our childish nativity
Only looking back on our past
The things we missed glare at us with aghast
Take a vow, shall we
Remain a child at heart forever.

IT

This is a small poem on "Relationships". Here the word "IT" refers to relationships . There may be many relations we have in this world , friends ,families , neighbors, etc.. Daily we meet newer people. But among them how many of them sustain the passage of time. This poem questions that......!!!

IT

Relationships and longevity blend seamlessly
IT may premature or IT may rot later
IT may mutate with time
IT may lose its shine as time takes its toll
IT keeps rusting and sparking
Life's journey is often surprising
The twists and turns shows us newer ones
Express your love and share your miseries
Live the life you desire
Carry IT long as you can , For
Never we know when IT ends
Only IT leaves memories as offsprings
IT may rise out of the blue
And IT may leave dark blues
IT may choose you or you may choose IT
But walk with IT till the end

A native visit

I wrote this POEM in the train when I was on my way to my home.....
This is for everyone who miss their home. If you go through this post , please leave a comment , which will definitely encourage this budding writer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                    A NATIVE VISIT
When the dawn is up and rising
Woven by a scenic transition from darkness to daylight
Receiving me is my native city
Surrounding me in the station are welcome boards aplenty
Here I land with baggages in hand
Passing through the barren roads
Gliding through my mind are nostalgic memory in loads
Witnessing my transition from a boy to a man
Interspersed with fun,love and happiness
Due courtesy my friends and family
Memories are hard and plenty to forget
Like, the fun filled evening cricket matches
Always ending with neighbor's rackets
Unending chats with friends
When hours raced like seconds
And truly I felt my mom's cooking
Only When I ate in hotels , fuming
Engineering and job created a barrier
Both ended opening newer worlds
Every time I enter my city
An inordinate joy brims my mind
And each time I leave it
An unending sorrow pierces my heart.

The Warrior Prince - A fanatic's Eulogy

Few said he cant play the rising ball , few said his attitude is like a Maharaja , but whatever , the fact that he entertained cricket fans for more than a decade and a half is undeniable. Yes the one and only Saurav Ganguly. A natural right hander , he was forced to switch to left handed batting just because he used his brother's kit(who is a left hander) and who boy , what a transformation it was. His batting can be described as poetry in motion, very similar to that of a bishen bedi bowling left arm spin or a jonty rhodes fielding. Put aside everything else, his most vital contribution to indian cricket was his captaincy. Took over the reins of indian cricket team , when the team was at its ebb and they used to depend on one man batting god Sachin Tendulkar. What he did was plucked a few talented youngsters from the ranji trophy, persisted with them despite their inital failures and built a team capable of beating top notch sides on their day. What stands out is that core of the current team Sehwag,Yuvi,Bhajji,Zak were all groomed by the warrior prince. Their respect for their captain shone when Saurav was dropped from the side and they protested that. Not that Saurav was a Mike Brearly , playing in the side ,merely as a captain. He has made 10,0000 runs in ODI and 8000 odd runs in test cricket. He put too much burden on himself as a captain , that is where Ganguly the batsman got affected.  When he was selected to play the england test in 1996 many termed his selection as a quota system and he was doomed to fail. But he silenced his critics with a spell bounding century with his characteristic off side play. How many ever fielders you put in the offside he pierces the gaps with surgical precision. When a man of few words like Rahul Dravid described him as"First there is god, then there is Saurav Ganguly , those words came out of mere admiration for his collegeue. His first five years of batting was smooth , he unleashed his off drives at will , lofted the spinners out of the park with ease and made some useful contributions with his handy medium pace. After that he was figured out. His edges to slips and gully were a common thing. Out of the blue he may play a fantastic innings, like the fighter's innings in 144 in Melbourne ,which made India stand upto Australia. His place in the side was never qeustioned for a few years , as the runs came from the willows of SRT,Yuvi,Viru and Dravid. And he formed a great partnership with John Wright , India's first foreign coach. The ending of his tenure coincided with the downfall of Saurav. He was detrimental in bringing Greg Chappell as the coach , but their association never took off and ended in a bizzare leaked e-mail in Bulawayo in 2005. He was prompty dropped, his deputy Dravid was made the captain. And after his sacking ,he went back to Ranji, scored runs , tightened his technique and made the selectors to draft him back to the side. He came like a man with a mission. Scored hundreds in away pitches in South Africa , dropped shear anchor role to allow the more flamboyant batsmen play their shots and the phoenix has risen from the ashes. From Ganguly the shot maker , he moved into Ganguly the accumulator , a similar transformation made by SRT(after their 30s). And till the day he announced his retirement he scored more runs thatn any other player. His decision to retire during the nagpur test, against Australia was questioned by many ,as runs were flowing freely. But he had made his mind and decided to leave the spot to a budding young batsman.
He taught the team , not to bugged down during hard times and instilled the belief of winning in away tours. Some of his acts like making the great Steve Waugh wait during the toss and Swirling his shirt after the Natwest Trophy Finals are now part of the folklore , that showed the new brand TEAM INDIA. He made his fair share of mistakes  , got struck into controversies , but he all showed us what left handed batting is and what it takes to be a great leader. Each and every word in this article is a dedication to the one of the legends of the game from one of his many humble fanatics
